Give Local

Give Local is here again! This is a national 36 hour event which takes place this year starting tomorrow, April 24th at 7am and continues until Wednesday April 25th at 7pm. There are 257 organizations involved in the Greater Waterbury Litchfield Hills area including Southbury Ambulance! Here is the link to donate to SAA which will become active at 7am tomorrow morning:

So what makes this so special? SAA will not only receive all the donated money, but there are matching funds from the Connecticut Community Foundation that are awarded based on the percentage of money donated. But wait, there’s more! There are thousands of dollars of prizes that SAA is eligible for too! These prizes are in varying dollar amounts and are awarded for donations made during certain time periods, certain dollar amounts for single or cumulative donations and more!

We appreciate all the hard work and hours that our volunteers and staff have donated to SAA. Have you ever thought, “I could never volunteer on the ambulance” or “I don’t do blood and guts” but want to help SAA? Here’s the perfect opportunity! Donations can be made in honor of a volunteer, in memory of a loved one or just because! Please share this post with your family and friends and help SAA! Donations will be used towards training and equipment and will directly go back to our volunteers!
