“It is with great pleasure and honor to host this event for Ms Christine and our responders to meet in person. On the sunny, but very windy, Sunday of November 24, 2024 the “chain of survival” system was put to the test. The Town of Southbury 911 dispatcher –Southbury Police Officers- Southbury Ambulance Association- Paramedic intercept mutual aid Hatzalah of Waterbury  all responded to a 911 request for help. It was recognized immediately at first patient contact that action must take place at once. The basic life skills (CPR and AED) were activated at once and made all the difference. Statistically a cardiac event has many variables. On this day for this patient all of the stars aligned for Ms Christine Elven. Each and every person had a key part with this outcome.”
