Southbury Ambulance Association (SAA) reports for first quarter 2023, response to 646 calls, provision of care to 678 individuals, with general sickness, heart related, and falls the top three medical categories. The in house SAA Paramedic responds as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) crew and also as mutual aid Paramedic intercept to Heritage Village and neighboring communities. Year to date March 2023, fifty one percent of transports were at the ALS level and forty nine percent at BLS. Sunday April 23rd, SAA was thrilled to participate in the Southbury Public Safety Day with other town agencies. Pictured below are SAA volunteers Menachem Karolitzky and Lukas Michalak.
